Glitter Girl Alexis Cohen

alexis cohenGlitter Girl Alexis Cohen was born in 1984 and was raised by her single mother in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The sweet and talented Glitter Girl was an inspiring singer as well as going to school to become a veterinarian.

She gained fame as a two-time American Idol contestant during seasons 7 and 8 who never made it to the Hollywood round. She became known as ‘Glitter Girl’ because she wore sparkly makeup during her auditions.

What Will We Remember About Michael Jackson?

michael jacksonMichael Jackson, well where do you start, one thing is sure I am not the only person to have written about him over the last few days.

On the announcement of his death people rushed, not to his Neverland Ranch, or some other commemorative spot to show their outpouring of grief but rather flocked to the modern outlet of public opinion, the Internet.

Within a couple of hours of his death Google staff apparently went into a panic in the belief that the giant search engine was under some kind of attack as their traffic figures spiralled out of control, and seven out of the top 10 search terms involved the words Michael Jackson, the same was true on Twitter where 5000 messages were being posted every single minute that also included his name.

Mariah Carey Is Back At Eminem On Her New CD

Mariah CareyDiva extraordinaire Mariah Carey has apparently took a swing at Eminem in response to lyrics from his CD track “Bagpipes From Baghdad” with her own musical kick in the groin with her track “Obsessed,” taken from her new CD entitled Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.

The new record was first heard on Tuesday and the lyrics clearly seem to be an attack on the hip-hop star with questions such as ‘’Why are you obsessed with me” sprinkled throughout the track.

At one point Carey even mentions the rap star by name, and goes on to sing about his drug problems that Eminem has sung about on his own CDRelapse. All of this is in response to Eminem’s ratings on his “Bagpipes From Baghdad,” album where he sings about “taking” the diva back from her boyfriend Nick Cannon.

Ozzy Goes To Court To Get Black Sabbath Back From Iommi

Ozzy OsbourneRock and Roll legend Ozzy Osbourne has filed a lawsuit against his former band mate Tony Iommi. Osbourne has claimed that the former Black Sabbath guitarist Iommi has violated copyright in taking over the band’s name and has cost him an undisclosed amount in merchandise sales and royalties.

Osbourne implored the guitarist to “do the right thing”. He expressed regret at having had to file a lawsuit, but insisted that it was necessary to make sure that the band’s name and logos were not taken over by one member.

Osbourne, who currently resides in California, filed the suit in a New York federal court, disputing Iommi’s claim to the exclusive rights to the band’s trademark. According to Osbourne’s representatives, Iommi does not own the sole rights to the band’s trademark and the false claim has led to a significant loss of royalties to Osbourne.
