“Gossip Girl” Is Back

I am so glad that a new season of the CW’s hit show, “Gossip Girl”, is back and they are now in college. The socialites of this popular television show are in for new romances, dilemmas, and fashions.

“Gossip Girl” is based on a book by Cecily von Ziegesar. It is an American television drama that started by following the lives of teens who attend a private school in New York City.

As the seasons progress we watch as the rich kids make their way through school into the latest season at college. The show’s cool young actors, that have absolutely charmed me, have a following who adore their characters and the clothes they wear.  It is so popular that every young adult I know feel like they have to imitate the clothes they wear and sometimes the lives they lead.

Hollywood’s New Trend – Pregnant Or Not Pregnant

It seems like a lot of stars are suddenly having a need to want to bring their offspring into the world.

Whether it is by having the babies themselves, or adopting one…or several from another country the celebrities’ houses are turning into daycare.

Other stars like Fergie and Mariah Carey say they are in no rush at all to have kids quite yet.

Maybe this is due to both women having very successful careers at the present time, or maybe the thought of ruining a perfect figure is too much for these two women to even consider it.

As you may have noticed it has become to be very popular for pregnant actresses to pose nude during the later months in their pregnancy. I’m sure nobody has forgotten Demi Moore’s stunning photo on the 1991 Vanity Fair cover. She was seven months pregnant. This unique signature pose was also recreated by singer Lisa Scott-Lee.

To Be Or Not Be …Paris

The tabloids love her, the designers are at her feet, she doesn’t get very shy when she is about to show some skin, she proves and underlines that “blondes have the most fun” and with nerve or simple charisma she prowls Hollywood streets setting trends in fashion and attitude or even in language saying “That’s Hot and That’s Not” and promoting this line like she were promoting an image or a bag …simply being…Paris Hilton.

I simply look at this girl, photographed and put on the covers of the magazines, and given as an example; and ask all of you other girls of her age, what is with Paris that makes her get so much attention.

Sweet And Angelic Portman Claims To Like Dirty Rap Music

When and where Natalie Portman got her start is up for debate.

Some day she got her start in 1994’s The Young Professional and some say she got her start in 1996’s “Beautiful Girls” as the young love interest or crush of Timothy Hutton.

Natalie’s performance in Beautiful Girls was unforgettable. Since the 1990s Natalie Portman has starred in countless movies including Star Wars Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace as Queen Amidala.  She also starred opposite Zach Braff in his directorial debut of Garden State. Her performance in Garden State was incredible.

Portman also portrayed Anne Frank on Broadway in 1997. It was in Anne Frank that Portman received highest acclaim from The New York Times critic Ben Brantley.

Amidst all her glory and fame for acting on screen and on Broadway, Natalie Portman is also a Harvard graduate.

Mandy Moore: America’s Pop Sweetheart All Grown Up

Initially Mandy Moore was just trying to keep up with Britney Spears in the whirlwind days of blonde pop stars.

However recently Mandy has made her mark in the film industry and let people know she is not just another blonde pop star.

Moore’s movie credits include A Walk to Remember, Because I Said So (with Diane Keaton) and License to Wed.

Moore’s boyfriend credits include Andy Roddick (tennis pro) Wilmer Valderrama and Zach Braff (Scrubs and Garden State). Ironically after these high-profile relationships Moore quietly snuck off and married Ryan Adams, a fellow musician.

One little fact about Mandy Moore’s life that many people do not know is she was essentially discovered by a Federal Express driver! A Federal Express driver overheard a 13 year-old Mandy who at the time was singing to record a demo on her own.

Bella Swan In Real Life

Kristen Stewart actually got her start in the movie “Panic Room” in which she starred with Oscar-winner Jodie Foster.

Born in 1990, the 19 year-old actress has recently exploded onto the scene for her role as Bella Swan in the extremely popular “Twilight” movie series.

Following Panic Room Stewart appeared in movies such as Cold Creek Manor in which she played the daughter of Sharon Stone and Dennis Quaid. The film Cold Creek Manor basically failed at the general box office. Shortly thereafter Kristen appeared in movies such as Catch That Kid and Undertow.

Many people know Kristen for her role in the made for television movie in 2004, Speak.  While Stewart had very few speaking lines in the movie she played the role of a raped teenager going through recovery extremely well and received much praise for her acting in that movie.

Whether you started with Laguna Beach or you came in at the tail end of The Hills: Season 1 chances are you are 100% addicted to the show…er, we mean addicted to the drama.

This season has not disappointed either. Funny thing is in past seasons it seemed anytime there was drama LC was involved.

Now it seems since KC is back in the picture the most dramatic moments involved her.

For example, KC showed up at Speidi’s nuptials. Now the show’s editing made it look like KC was Justin’s date. For those of you who are lost already, Justin (Justin Bobby) is Audrina’s ex-boyfriend. KC is Kristin Cavallari, also known as the ‘Maneater’. So when KC showed up to the wedding and sat next to Justin it looked as if she was his date. At a pool party that followed a few days later a verbal fight transpired between Audrina, Stephanie and KC over Justin basically.

Carrie Underwood: Just A Small Town Checotah, Oklahoma Girl

Carrie Underwood is quite possibly one of the most (if not THE most) popular singer to come out of American Idol since the show’s inception.

Underwood won the reality talent show American Idol in 2004 and many of us remember vividly her rendition of Heart’s “Alone” as she was dressed in all black and had a bit of an 80s hair vibe going on.

Some American Idol fans were shocked when Underwood beat runner-up Bo Bice in the finale of the show but most knew it was coming.

In fact, during auditions American Idol meanie judge Simon Cowell predicted that Carrie Underwood would win the entire competition and sell more records than anyone previously in American Idol history. Cowell was exactly correct on his prediction.

Up until winning American Idol, Underwood competed mainly in local talent shows in her hometown of Checotah, Oklahoma. In her free time Underwood was active with her church and attended prayer meetings on Wednesday nights.
