Brittany Murphy – Her Heart Could Not Carry Her Star Anymore
The 32 year old free-spirited actress, who starred in films such as “Clueless”, “Just Married” and “8 Mile”, died Sunday in Los Angeles.
Brittany Murphy was pronounced dead at 10:04 a.m., Sunday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
An autopsy had been scheduled for Monday or Tuesday, but there was no sign of trauma on her body and, as Captain John Kades, the spokesman of the coroner’s office stated, it is not unusual for a young person to die of natural causes.
Even though, the coroner’s office is looking into Murphy’s medical history and it seems she was suffering from laryngitis before she died and she was on prescription drugs.
The actress had been taken to hospital after a fire reported at her husband’s house, Simon Monjack.
LAPD is investigating her death and her family is cooperating with the coroner’s office, while paparazzi camp outside her property, hoping that the family will make a statement.
