Hewitt was previously engaged to her then boyfriend, Scottish actor Ross McCall, but soon split up in late 2008 after dating for over three years.

Hewitt and Hallisay both 36 started their journey from the sets of “The Client List” and thus began dating each other in around 2012. It was very evident that it was a match made in heaven. The couple then revealed that they were both engaged and expecting in 2013 and shortly tied the knots few months before they had their first baby, Autumn.

Hewitt, who was named as the new spokeswomen for Palmer’s Cocoa Butter in May, spoke publicly and at full length about her pregnancy with American Baby that very month. She said that pregnancy was a very magical moment of her life and that she was grateful for it and considers her pregnancy a gift from the God.

She says that since most of the people are so busy about their daily lives and are completely work driven, they forget to take care of themselves. But it is very different when you are pregnant, because then its only about you and the baby that is being nurtured inside you. Her little proclamation was very heart touching.

She further continues by saying that people hardly enjoy a good nap. According to her, people of her generation think that they cannot enjoy it for some reason; however, they should really be listening to their bodies. And because she realized how beautiful it was to take care of yourself when you are pregnant because you are actually taking care of the life that is growing within you! She adds saying that “you want to get a little gentler and kinder to yourself”. Hewitt really wishes that she continues to be kinder to herself even after her pregnancy.
