Amazingly fashionable, the Oscar dresses are for certain a bit more than the standard party dress Hollywood is usually accustomed to see photographed and admired during and after the most famous ceremony in the world.
The Oscar dress is the way designers see fit to outdo themselves and offer the world something to crave for.
It is understandable that the dresses are the purest form of couture and hence their presence on the catwalks during the fashion shows is not so spectacular compared to their appearance on the red carpet.
