What Exactly Are They Famous For? 10 Celebrities That We Aren’t Quite Sure Why They Are Famous

You know who they are, the celebs you really aren’t sure why they are famous or what their contribution, if any, is to Hollywood, politics, humanitarian movement or entertainment.

They are usually the children of someone famous, riding on their parents’ coat tails. They are most known for running in the same crowd, being socialites in New York City and getting into the VIP section at every bar and nightclub from Paris to Manhattan.

So who are these celebs and what makes them who they are? We have put together 10 of the very well-known famous-for-nothing celebs.

1. Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton is famous. She is famous and we know many things about her but do we know exactly why she is famous? She may be famous because she is the daughter of Richard Hilton, heir to the Hilton Hotel fortune.

Let’s see, there was the infamous sex tape. And there is the constant partying and being seen in the VIP sections of nightclubs. And she is a self-proclaimed model, singer, fashion designer, actress, media personality and author.

Things you may not know about Paris Hilton are that she was expelled from the prestigious Canterbury Boarding School and later received her GED. Hilton did not graduate from high school with the rest of her classmates. While in high school, Hilton was a member of the Canterbury ice hockey team.

2. Nicole Richie

Nicole Richie is famous for being the adopted daughter of Lionel Richie. Nicole went through a very rough time in her life when she first made it into the spotlight as a celebrity famous for nothing, and underwent treatment through Oxycontin addiction resources after almost overdosing. She also acquired an alcohol and drug addiction that she later received help with through one of the many California rehabs.

Nicole has also been the center of many conversations about her weight and possible eating disorders. Things you may not know about Nicole Richie are that her godfathers are Quincy Jones and the late Michael Jackson. Richie was a figure skater during her childhood years and also played cello, guitar and violin.

Statistics have shown that oxycodone misuse has quickly grown in the past decade, and those figures include celebrities.

After attending and graduating from high school at Montclair College Prep she went on to the University of Arizona for a brief two year stint where she studied Arts and Media.

3. Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian is famous first for being absolutely gorgeous, second for being the daughter of O.J. Simpson defense attorney Robert Kardashian and third for; well we really don’t know what.

Things you may not know about Kim Kardashian are that she does not drink alcohol and O.J. Simpson is her godfather. Kardashian was married for four years to music producer Damon Thomas and later dated Reggie Bush, NFL star, for several years until they recently broke off their relationship.

Kim may be famous for her infamous sex tape with R&B singer Ray J. that was leaked to the public in 2007.

4. Brody Jenner

Brody Jenner is really famous for absolutely nothing except being the son of a has-been Olympic star Bruce Jenner and step-brother to another ‘famous for nothing’ celebrity Kim Kardashian.

He appeared in the reality TV show The Hills and is best friends with ‘famous for nothing’ celebrity Spencer Pratt. Additionally Jenner dated ‘famous for nothing’ celebrity (see above) Nicole Richie. There are a lot of ‘famous for nothing’s in Jenner’s circle.

5. Kim Stewart

Kim Stewart, daughter of rock star Rod Stewart is another ‘famous for nothing’ celebrity that literally is famous for nothing except her legendary father. Stewart has modeled for little-known clothing lines and released her own children’s clothing line.

Stewart, like Brody Jenner, is notorious for having many ‘famous for nothing’s in her circle. Stewart is tight with fellow celebs Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton, as well as Kim Kardashian. Stewart has been repeatedly attacked by PETA for her poor taste in fashion and wearing fur.

Something you may not know about Kim Stewart is she had breast implants then later had them taken out. When she had them taken out she sent them to Jack Osbourne (son of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne) and he hung them on his bathroom wall.

6. Kevin Federline

Kevin Federline is famous because he married the biggest female entertainer and pop star of our time. Kevin met Britney Spears when he was her back up dancer on one of her tours. They later married and had two sons; Sean Preston and Jayden James. When the two began dating “K. Fed” had a pregnant fiancé, Shar Jackson.

Like Paris Hilton, K. Fed dropped out of high school in the ninth grade and later earned his GED. In addition to being a back-up dancer K. Fed has also tried to make it as a model and rapper. Despite his talents and choices he has made K. Fed has proven himself to be an incredible father to his two sons with Britney.

7. Peaches Geldoff

Peaches Geldoff is famous for being a socialite. That is it. That is pretty much all she has contributed to society and it would be the British society at that. Something you may not know about Peaches is that her full birth name is Peaches Honeyblossom Michelle Charlotte Angel Vanessa Geldoff.

Yes, that is correct. Peaches was married to American musician Max Drummey in August 2008 and they were divorced in February 2009 just shortly after tattooing each other’s names on their hands.

8.  Heidi Pratt and Spencer Pratt

Heidi Pratt and Spencer Pratt, and Stephanie Pratt are pretty much all famous for nothing. Heidi Pratt appeared as Lauren Conrad’s friend in the reality TV show The Hills.

Heidi started dating Spencer which made him famous. Spencer had a sister Stephanie and that is how she became famous.

9. Sanjaya Malakar

Sanjaya Malakar was made famous for annoying the living spit out of judge Simon Cowell in Season 6 of American Idol. Sanjaya essentially became famous for being a contestant who literally couldn’t get kicked off the show even though he clearly lacked any musical talent.

Omarosa is known as being the bitch who cried racism in Donald Trump’s reality TV show The Apprentice.
