For three seasons now, Kim Kardashian has pretty much been the star of the reality show featuring her entire family, ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’. The second daughter of Chris Jenner and the late Robert Kardashian, Kim has made a name for herself for being beautiful, and being famous for absolutely nothing. Kim’s two sisters then joined her for being famous for being beautiful and for nothing else.
Recently, Kim has declared she will be taking the next step in her career which will be going behind the scenes to begin a producing career. Kim seems quite proud of the decision she has made and in interviews takes every opportunity to say the word ‘producing’.
The next step in her plan to further her career is to begin producing a new reality show which is based upon the public relations industry. Kim and two friends Simon Huck with Command Public Relations and Jonathan Cheban a Public Relations guru are taking on the proposed series.
The reality show will actually follow Cheban and Huck in their careers at PR professionals. The guys don’t represent individuals or celebrities in their careers as PR professionals. Instead, the guys focus their efforts on building brands, brand management and marketing efforts.
Bunim-Murray, the company also responsible for producing Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, The Simple Life, Living Lohan and Keeping up with the Kardashians, is on board to produce the new reality series.
Kim says the reality series will consist of 30 minute episodes that will be ‘really cool’ and will show the intricacies of the Public Relations business from an insiders’ perspective. Kim also says while she will not be a main character of the reality show she will in fact make cameos. Kim says her famous celebrity friends will also make cameos on the new reality series.
Kim is really excited for the series because she says she wants the public and mainstream public to see exactly what goes on behind the scenes and how much these PR professionals deal with on a day to day basis, as well as the kind of problem solving the PR guys are capable of.
So what does this mean for any future seasons of ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’? Kim hasn’t said anything in regards to that and her PR people have made no comment either.
