Twilight Author Stephenie Meyer Sued For Copyright Infringement
Twilight author, Stephenie Meyer is being sued by a woman named Jordan Scott, who wrote an obscure vampire book as a teenager for stealing her ideas from her work for the fourth edition in vampire series, “Breaking Dawn.”
Meyer’s publisher responded that the lawsuit filed is a merit less claim meant to further the career of aspiring screenwriter making the complaint.
Jordan Scott claims in her lawsuit, filed today in federal court, that she began writing a novel “in the vampire genre” when she was just 15 — back in 2003. The novel was published in 2006 and called “The Nocturne.”

Celebrity Children’s Names
What is going on with the baby names celebrities are punishing their children with?
Have you noticed how names went from sweet and biblical to trendy and now to just plain weird? I believe it started with Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin naming their child ‘Apple’ and then things just went downhill.
Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman named their son Max Liron. Now this is normal. Maybe Liron is a family name so we can’t give too much slack to Mr. and Mrs. Aguilera. Arthur Ashe and his wife Jeanne Moutoussamy Ashe named their daughter Camera. Yes, camera as in Nikon or Sony, as in 10 or 12 pixels.
Erykah Badu who has had children with two different men has named her children ‘Seven Sirius’ and ‘Puma’. We aren’t sure what was going on with that thought process there. Andre 3000 of Outkast and Tracy Curry of The D.O.C. may or may not have had a say in the naming of their offspring?
Celine Dion Is Pregnant With Second Child
Celine Dion, 41, is due to give birth next May, after undergoing fertility treatments, reports Celine’s publicist Muriel Blondeau on news.
Dion who has made no secret of her wish to have another kid, already has an eight year old son, Rene Charles, with husband Rene Angelil, who already has three children from two marriages.
“Celine had said that after her tour, she wanted to try again to have a child, and the good news came yesterday,” Blondeau said.
It’s too early to know if the child is a boy or a girl, Blondeau said. The fertility treatment Dion used to become pregnant is the same procedure she used to have her first child, Blondeau said.

The Hollywood Studios Are Fighting To Produce “Kick Ass”
The fragment from “Kick Ass” presented at Comic Con in San Diego amazed the fans, but it seems they weren’t the only ones impressed by the project.
According to Risky Biz, 3 major studios are fighting for the distribution rights of “Kick Ass”. Lionsgate, Paramount and Universal are all eager to get their hands on “Kick Ass”. The favorite seems to be Universal which launched the” Wanted” also written by Mark Millar.
“Kick Ass” was independently financed because of the film’s story which merges the children with explicit, forbidden, violence. To be precise, “Kick Ass” shows a 10 year old girl cutting people to pieces.
So being R- Rated, “Kick Ass” will be released in March 2010 as “Watchmen” was released in March 2009.
Halo Lives And Steven Spielberg Is Directing It
The fans of the Halo game have a good reason to rejoice. They found someone to finally adapt the very famous video game for the wide screen.
Peter Jackson, the movie director that attempted to direct Halo in 2006 gave up the project and it was definitively postponed because of the numerous creative conflicts which appeared before the production was started.
Steven Spielberg, the sacred monster of action Sci-Fi genre, will be the one taking on the chance to produce and adapt for cinematography one of the most loved video game saga of the world.
After directing Transformers it seems that Spielberg had landed another very promising franchise.
According to Steven Spielberg’s declarations, the famous director appeared very enthusiastic about this project especially after he read the script written by Stuart Beatie.

No matter how surprising this may seem after the whole media was ragging about the singer’s supposing well endowed…lower parts, the German version of FHM magazine invited Lady Gaga to pose in a very sexy innocent vs. bad girl position and put her on the cover wearing nothing else but a black leather swimsuit leaving very little room for imagination concerning certain body parts.
After this, the media that rejoiced at the news of her supposed masculinity was very quick to underline that this was just another drastic marketing act she is so famous for, meant to bring her into public’s attention.
Obsessed with fashion and everything else implying VIP conduct, lady Gaga proclaimed herself addicted to fame. Her clothing style is the proof of complete liberty in outfit choice. Nothing is forbidden in her style so everyone expects her to create a fashion brand to represent her.
Cameron Douglas’s Girlfriend Arrested For Smuggling Drugs
Court papers show, actor Cameron Douglas’s girlfriend, Kelly Sott, was arrested for allegedly trying to smuggle drugs to him in an electric toothbrush.
She was busted after passing the electric toothbrush to Cameron while he was under home detention following a court hearing on his drug charges. Kelly was arrested at Gansevoort Hotel in Manhattan where she was staying.
Cameron Douglas, 30, son of actor Michael Douglas, was arrested last month after an undercover cop allegedly found half-a-pound of meth on Douglas at the swanky Hotel Gansevoort, law enforcement officials said.
Douglas had been on house arrest at the New York home of his stepmother, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and the home is being monitored by a private security company.

Stars From The “L” Word – Perhaps One Of The Best Unwatched Shows
In my opinion one of the best shows on television (cable) is also one of the least known by the mainstream public.
If you’re a lesbian or know a lesbian you have probably seen several episodes of The “L” Word, and it’s quite possible you have seen every episode more than once. Dubbed “Sex And The City” for gays, The “L” Word came on the scene in 2004 with a bang and has been driving hard and pulling in audiences ever since.
While the produced for Showtime series has gained some recognition I don’t believe the general public has truly been able to appreciate what this incredible series has to offer.
The show features well known celebrity actresses such as Jennifer Beals (former Flashdance phenom) and Pam Grier (known for her role as Jackie Brown, produced by Quentin Tarantino) who ironically in the series play half-sisters.
Mark Lester Claims Paternity For MJ’s Girl
Mark Lester, long time friend of Micheal Jackson and former child star, claims he is the father of one of late MJ’s kids, reports News Of The World.
He claims that he had donated a sperm to Jackson and is ready to give a paternity test.
Lester believes that he could be father of Paris Jackson and noted that she bore physical resemblance to his daughter.
“It’s been a secret for so long,” said Mark. “In 1996 Michael asked me if I would give him my sperm and I said yes.
It was a gift to him, no money was paid, it was something I was honored to do. He wanted children so badly.”
Paula Abdul May Soon Appear On “Dancing With Stars”
Though Paula Abdul is out of ‘American Idol’, she could soon appear on “Dancing with stars” on rival TV network ABC.
Mr. Steve McPherson, ABC’s entertainment president, told reporters that he would like to see Paula Abdul, former Idol judge, on “Dancing with stars” and he had already offered a role in his TV network.
“I would love to (have her). I was a little stunned by the (“Idol”) decision. We would love to have her on ‘Dancing’ either as a participant or a contestant,” McPherson said.
“I definitely have reached out to her. I gave her a call first and foremost to say I was sorry about the situation and to say we’d love to see her on ABC,” said McPherson, adding that he was a personal friend of Abdul.
