While most people think of Forbes and write off the magazine as a financial report, even those who are not concerned about finances can use the Forbes Celeb 100 list as a great evaluation of pop culture.
By looking at the list one can accurately judge which celebs are the most influential and have managed to stay visible in the public eye as this is the main contributing factor to a celebrity’s success.
Of course, celebrities have had their dose of reality this past year as well with the economic crisis tightening their budgets as well (albeit slightly larger budgets than most of us) and are inundated with new stories that are frightening as well from swine flu to ongoing nuclear debates.
Thus, it should come as no surprise that they want a vacation away from reality as well which is why the Celebs 100 list makers’ vacations are worth a glance as well since the millions they have tucked away makes for some wonderful vacations that belong in the movies as well!
Simon Cowell who has captured both UK and US audiences for example owns a home in Holland Park in one of London’s premier locations, a mansion in Beverly Hills, a villa in Spain, and a property on Jumeirah Island, part of the new Dubai palms. However, despite the many amenities these locations have to offer, he still jets out to his estate in Barbados when it is time for a break.
Of course every celebrity has a different preference for holiday excursions, with celebs such as Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt choosing the city holiday location of New Orleans and Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes who enjoy time off in whatever location he happens to be filming which was most recently Rio de Janeiro.
